Kendriya Vidyalaya Rangapahar was established in 1992 and is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India. The Vidyalaya is now operating in a temporary building provided by the Indian Army. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, and follow a uniform syllabus.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Rangapahar is a ‘Miniature India‘ that aims to foster patriotism, brotherhood, and national integration in its students. The Vidyalaya maintains a high standard of academic excellence with the help of highly qualified and efficient faculty. The Vidyalaya also provides facilities for its students’ all-round development by providing opportunities for games/sports/scouts & guides and Co-Curricular activities (C.C.A).
